Todd Allyn is Founding Director of Sovereo Intelligence Research, a systems intelligence firm based in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a finance degree and dual master's degrees in finance and international business from The University of Akron, taught college economics, finance and business for about 24 years, and served as a business school dean. He hosted The Todd Allyn Show on iHeartRadio.

Todd retired at 62 after choosing his family in Colombia over an on-campus requirement. That move changed his income, costs, health care and legacy at once, and became the origin of Sovereo. Sovereo traces how decisions in geopolitics, culture, technopolitics, astropolitics, rare earths and minerals reach ordinary people, ranks 192 countries in the free Sovereo Index, and scores every forecast in public. Todd also leads the Retirement Decision Lab and Sovereo Web Works. He is not a financial advisor.
